    Adventurous Mom Highlights Force of Nature Event

    On Friday, August 25, REI hosted a “Raise the Roof(top) Party to Celebrate Women in the Outdoors” as part of their Force of Nature initiative to encourage women to spend more time exploring the great outdoors. The event was held on the roof of the Plymouth Meeting Whole Foods, who supplied some of the refreshments.     Treetop Adventures Just Outside Philly

              Those seeking adventure and possibly a bit of risk taking might want to try zip lining. Though more common in faraway, mountainous areas, there are some options here in the Philadelphia area, and even more just a few hours away. While each has its own  special features, all require the use of safety harnesses and helmets and stress that participants must wear closed-toe shoes.
