Bird Walk with Mary Ellen Krober

All are welcome to join our free, volunteer-guided bird walks to experience and learn about avian species at the refuge. Diverse habitats – woodland, creek, field and large open water impoundment – sustain a variety of resident and migratory bird species. Meet at the Heinz Refuge Visitors Center. Bring binoculars or borrow from the front desk. No experience necessary. Dress for seasonal weather and be prepared to walk outside for 2-3 hours. Walks may not proceed in inclement weather
